Position Overview

Manage Purchasing and Inventory Services, support Finance, Regulatory and Quality departments to accomplish corporate objectives. Collaborate with Marketing and Logistics to plan and forecast product supply from subcontractors. Develop policies and procedures in the areas of procurement and inventory control.


  • Oversees activities related to the purchasing of materials, management of raw materials in the warehouses(s) and assures steady supply of materials to support Ops and other laboratories to prevent both overstock and stock outs.
  • Control costs and expenditures by managing current suppliers and evaluating alternate suppliers to identify cost reduction opportunities with the most cost effective suppliers that can deliver a quality product to maintaining required inventory levels.
  • Continue to refine policies and procedures that support the regulatory and compliance aspects of the Company including FDA, ISO, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act of2002.
  • Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
  • Manage all subcontracting relationships.
  • Materials Management Functional Lead for SAP and support the SAP environment as required for M&A activities.
  • Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function


Bachelor's Degree and 10 years Purchasing Management experience in a medical device or pharma manufacturing environment.  Experience in SAP or other MRP systems.
