    Position Overview

    Maintain building systems including off-site warehouse. Ensure cleanrooms, laboratories and office areas achieve optimal performance and system efficiency. Plan, coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors as needed at all locations to achieve efficient operations.

    Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for HVAC systems analysis, maintenance, diagnostics, upgrades, efficiency, and modifications.
    2. Responsible for diagnostic and repair of electrical systems.
    3. Responsible for creating and maintaining building and mechanical drawings and keeping these up to date.
    4. Responsible for management and operation of automated building control systems.
    5. Management of vendors and vendor contracts as required.
    6. Responsible for document control and management of departmental SOPs.
    7. Able to perform ON-Call duties in weekly rotation.
    8. Manager and assigned Functional Lead of SAP Plant Maintenance Module.
    9. Management of equipment master data records and preventive maintenance scheduling and completion.
    10. Technical administrator for CIMScan software and installations across CryoLife manufacturing divisions.
    11. Subject matter expert for all building systems.

     

    Qualifications

    1. Completion of an Associate’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and 3-5 years in a building maintenance and engineering capacity or a combination of education and experience.  Bachelor’s degree or experience as a Chief Building Engineer on a large commercial or industrial property is desirable
    2. Demonstrated experience in the following:  chillers; air handlers and related sub systems experience; troubleshooting control circuits; installation of plumbing; process piping and refrigeration theory
    3. State license in HVAC desired but may be obtained after hire
