    Position Overview

    This weekend, 2nd shift position will support the Tissue Processing Lab and company through performance of aseptic processing of allografts and general lab functions.

    Responsibilities

    1. This is a WEEKEND 2nd SHIFT role: Friday-Sunday, 4:00pm-2:30am.
    2. Sterile and non-sterile duties for aseptic transfers.
    3. Receive, inspect, label and document incoming tissue.
    4. Circulate at dissection.
    5. Disinfect, assemble, and sterilize laboratory instruments.
    6. Prepare disinfectants, solutions, and intermediates.
    7. Clean processing areas and the general lab area, including laundering of laboratory scrubs and waste disposal.
    8. Monitor and record equipment parameters.
    9. Supply stocking and material system.
    10. Produce complete and accurate documentation/labeling for above functions.
    11. Complete appropriate training records prior to performing associated functions.
    12. Perform all functions within CryoLife SOP compliance.
    13. Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications

    1. Ability to work the WEEKEND 2nd SHIFT: Friday-Sunday, 4:00pm-2:30am.
    2. High School Diploma or equivalent (high school students age 18 or above may be considered).
    3. Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
    4. Capable of following instructions and working without direct supervision.
    5. Good verbal communication skills.
