    Position Overview

    Provide guidance, management and execution of future growth projects for the company.


    • Evaluate global market potential for internal and external product development projects as well as business development projects and acquisitions.
    • Develop comprehensive plans to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, to include sizing market opportunities, assessing customer needs and competitive landscape, understanding technology, project execution, and commercial implications, and creating robust business case proposals.
    • Drive and execute required research and assessments leading to informed business case proposals. Research could be qualitative or quantitative, executed by internal or external resources, could involve hands-on evaluations in R&D or pre-clinical settings, and could require engagement with various global customer groups.
    • Manage approved projects from official kick-off up to launch, supplying oversight to all functions and their timelines
    • Collaborate with Clinical Research on trial design and strategies to maximize market penetration and competitive positioning 
    • After completion of a project assist Downstream Marketing, when necessary, in the understanding of markets, customers, and go to market strategy.


    • 1-5 years medical device experience required
    • Proficient in Microsoft office, including project planning software
    • BA/BS required, Master’s/MBA preferred
    • Upstream/inbound marketing, new product development experience preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects
    • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment
    • Position requires ~30% travel
    • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member, and ability to develop deep clinical expertise in medical device product lines
