Provide principal paralegal support for the Sales Team and back-up support for the Clinical Research Department, and other departments as needed from time to time. Support other legal department efforts as needed, including litigation support, and mergers and acquisitions diligence and other projects as needed.

Prepare, draft and negotiate sales and procurement contracts and clinical contracts, including contract management, research, direct negotiation with other parties, and coordination of internal partners. Serve as direct liaison and contact point for the Legal Department with partners in Sales Departments and Clinical Departments.
Engage in direct negotiations with hospitals, hospital groups, and other entities with little direction.
Help strengthen company templates and review our legal positions on contractual terms; engage in continuing efforts to make the contracting processes more efficient.

Perform other paralegal and occasional administrative functions within the legal department as requested from time to time, such as M&A and litigation support.
Work directly with the General Counsel, the attorneys, and paralegal, as well as with all levels of management and contributors in all departments. This role includes providing international support.
Lead or assist with other legal department projects as directed by the General Counsel.
Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of paralegal experience preferred but not required. Significant experience in negotiating commercial sales and procurement contracts, including reviewing and negotiating complex legal concepts (e.g. warranties, indemnification and limitation of liability) preferred. Must be able to identify business and legal risks and make informed decisions as to the impact of those risks. Strong record-keeping, organizational, problem-solving, communication, analytical, and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and customer service. Excel and thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environment, supporting a wide variety of internal and external clients. Works well in a team and is willing to accept direct from all levels of the company and team as appropriate.
