Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts and agreements to support the Company’s business in the United States and abroad. Support the Legal Department’s work related to M&A, due diligence, health care compliance, securities, employment, training, and litigation, among other areas. Support efforts to optimize the role of the legal department in the Company.
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for an international medical device Company, including sales and distribution agreements, clinical agreements, licensing and R&D agreements, vendor and supply chain agreements, and others. Establish best practices and manage the overall pipeline of contracts for the Company.
This position will work extensively with many functions and areas of the Company in an effort to understand both business goals and corporate risk, and to implement the approach in the best interest of the Company. While this position will have the primary responsibility of managing the contract process at the Company, it will also be tasked, as needed, with a variety of responsibilities to support the legal needs of any area of the Company, working independently or under the General Counsel or Associate General Counsels based on the project.

The successful candidate will be expected to approach his or her work with a customer-focus and a results-driven attitude. The Legal Department works as a unified whole, and attorneys, paralegals, and support staff are often called upon to complete work outside of their immediate area of responsibility, which enables us to provide exceptional service to our internal clients.
