    Position Overview

    Direct corporate business or product expansion projects through the initiating, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases. The Project Manager is accountable for facilitating the activities of the cross-functional project team to achieve overall attainment of project performance, cost, and schedule objectives.


    1. Direct teams through all phases of project management.
    2. Develop and maintain project timelines.
    3. Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources for the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
    4. Manage and coordinate cross-functional project teams with a responsibility for results in terms of time, cost, team engagement, quality and compliance to applicable standards and internal procedures.
    5. Lead multiple cross-functional teams at one time. Typical project types include, but are not limited to, acquisitions, business integrations, business expansion, and support of business development activities.
    6. Proactively identify risks and issues on projects – leads team to develop mitigation plans and implement the most appropriate solutions
    7. Develop appropriate communication systems and provide timely and accurate communication of key project issues/events to teams, senior management and external suppliers/team members.
    8. Facilitate decision-making in order to make solid, objective recommendations for continuation, acceleration, reprioritization, redesign, or termination of projects.
    9. Perform departmental procedure revisions on an as needed basis.
    10. Assist with development of project budgets. Work with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate tracking of project costs.

    Other responsibilities as needed.


    • Bachelor's degree in business/technical/scientific related field and 2 -4 years of project management experience in business acquisitions, expansions, integrations or related efforts or a combination of education and experience.
    • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business writing and formal presentations and ability to manage multiple activities while meeting timelines
    • Creativity in organizing and displaying data, strong problem-solving and prioritization skills and the ability to lead executive level meetings and processes
    • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated performance in cross-functional project leadership positions
    • PMP Certification
    • Experience working in FDA regulated industry and with FDA Design Controls
